Hello Barons!

The back-to-school season brings a unique blend of excitement, anticipation, and
perhaps a touch of nervous energy as students, teachers, and families enter into a new
academic year. This annual transition marks more than just a return to classrooms and
schedules: It represents fresh starts, new opportunities, and the promise of growth and
discovery ahead. Whether a family has a member starting kindergarten for the first
time, beginning a new grade level, or returning to teaching after summer break, the
back-to-school message is the same, and that is excitement, support, and celebration for
this important milestone of reaching a new year.

From Father’s new initiatives to strategic planning, from a new School Council chair
(Austin Powers) to a new parochial vicar (Father Hilger), from new staff members to
new students, the year is going to be packed with challenges, learning and opportunities.
I hope each of you can get involved and enjoy this year with us. We all have heard this
verse from Philippians many times: “I can do all things in Him Who strengthens me.”
When I look at the calendar in my office and think about all the programs we offer to
challenge our students, it is overwhelming. But then I sit in Mass and reflect on what
God does for us and know that we as a community have got this!

Reminder that there is a Stewardship Social on Sunday from 10 to 2. All the great
ministries of this wonderful parish will be represented. I and Mrs. Weaver will be
looking forward to seeing you, so stop by our table.

As we are getting this great year started, please help us get all of our paperwork, dues,
and any other tasks completed so we can serve you to the best of our abilities.
